John Doe is a 2012 3B/OF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame, who attends Southern Cal HS. Medium, athletic build with lean, projectable frame and room to fill out with added strength. Ran a 6.95 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, shows athletic actions to the ball with easy range up the middle, smooth actions charging in, longer release on throws across, soft hands with arm strength that will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright stance, narrow base, and uses a toe tap trigger. Upper body swing, wrapped start with an inside approach. Keeps hand in during swing, shows a nice feel for the barrel with ability to hit to all fields, creates line drive contact, quick bat coming through the zone. Shows some strength off the barrel to pull side. Very good student.
